- SE April 2024 - Professional Engineer PE Exam Forum
Here is another typo from NCEES - the above screenshot (and the website still to-date) says the depth exams offered once per year which is incorrect Depth exams are offered twice (Apr and Oct) I don't think the issue was primarily due to slew of unprepared examinees
- I passed the FE on my 7th try and no it wasn’t easy!
Study materials I found helpful: For every attempt my studying started with the FE Civil Review Manual book by Lindeburg, the FE Civil Practice Problems book by Lindeburg, and the official NCEES Practice Test You also can not take the exam without fully knowing the NCEES Reference Handbook
- Passed the Power PE Exam on my first try!!
TLDR: Study material: 1 Engineering Pro Guides for reviewing chapters and plenty of practice problems 2 NCEES practice exam as mock exam to get familiar with how NCEES word their question 3 Zach Stone practice exam as mock exam to identify gaps in your understanding and learn a lot from the answer key Timeframe:
- NCEES PRACTICE TEST - Professional Engineer PE Exam Forum
I took the NCEES practice test a month out from the exam and didn't do quite as well as you did I still became slightly overconfident though After taking the 8hr timed practice test, I sort of felt like I knew what to expect on the real exam My experience in October was that the real exam was more difficult than the NCEES practice exam
- Minnesota PE application with NCEES record - timeline process?
Can anyone tell me a timeline for the MN PE application? I took the exam in another state but applied for the initial license thru the Minnesota board I just wanted to know how long does the whole process take from sending the application to issuing a license number? Thank you in advance
- States that require experience to sit for the NCEES PE Exams
The NCEES does indeed approve or deny you to sit for the Principles Practice exam for Maine Maine does require 4 years experience, ABET EAC or ABET ETAC, and they accept the NCEES Record without further review of references or experience You can sit for the Maine PE exam at any Pearson VUE site in the United States
- No Email from NCEES | Professional Engineer PE Exam Forum
I, along with a few others have not received an email from NCEES although the results have been posted for a couple of days now Anybody have a clue as to why this may have happened?
